Embeddable badges
A live SVG badge showing your availability or any timezone's clock, ready to paste into a README, blog, or forum signature.
Embeddable badges
A badge is a small SVG image that shows whether you are free right now, and what time it is where you are. It updates itself wherever it is embedded, because the image is rendered fresh every time someone loads the page it sits on.
The Badges tab in your dashboard builds one visually and hands you the snippet. This page explains what the controls do and how to hand-edit a URL if you want to.

The dashboard gives you four ready-made formats. Pick the tab that matches where it is going.

Customizing it
Every option is a query parameter, so you can tweak a URL by hand at any point.
styleflatsizenormalnormal is the classic 88x31 web button. compact is a thin auto-width pill that sits nicely in a README status line.themedarkaccent#, for example accent=3db44a.showname, status, and time. A status badge shows all three by default; a timezone badge shows the name and the clock.format12hPut together:

| Badge says | Behind it |
|---|---|
| Free now | You are inside an availability window. |
| Free soon | Your next window opens within 90 minutes. |
| Busy | You are outside your windows right now. |
| Asleep | Outside your windows, and it is the middle of the night where you are. |
| Away | No upcoming availability in the next two weeks. |
| Not found | No such username, or that talk page is set to private. |
Good to know
- It never renders as a broken image. An unknown username or a bad timezone still returns a valid SVG saying so.
- It is cached for about a minute. That keeps embeds cheap without letting the badge drift meaningfully out of date.
- Some readers do not refresh images. GitHub, for example, proxies and caches images aggressively, so a badge in a README can lag behind your real status.
- The preview control is preview only. The "see it as" states in the dashboard exist so you can check your colors against every state. The badge you actually embed always follows your real schedule.
