What is WhatTime.to?
A public page that tells anyone whether now is a good moment to reach you, in their timezone and yours.
What is WhatTime.to?
Know when to reach out.
WhatTime.to gives you a public page, something like whattime.to/talk/maya, that shows your
current local time, whether now is a good moment to contact you, and when your next good
moment starts. Every time appears twice: once in your timezone, once in the visitor's.
It is the anti-scheduler. No booking, no meeting slots, no calendar access. It answers one question, "is now a good moment to reach this person?", and then gets out of the way. The actual conversation still happens wherever you already talk: Discord, iMessage, email, a phone call.
How it works
- You write down a weekly scheduleRecurring windows in your own local time, like Monday to Friday, 10 to 20.
- You share your linkPut it in a bio, a Discord status, an email signature, or a chat message.
- A visitor gets an answerThe page compares your schedule to right now, in both time zones, and refreshes every minute.
The answers a page can give
| Headline | What it means |
|---|---|
| Now is a good time to talk | You are inside an availability window right now. |
| Available soon | Your next window starts within the next 90 minutes. |
| It may be better to wait | You are outside your windows. The page shows when the next one starts. |
| Probably asleep | You are unavailable and it is between 22 and 07 where you are. |
| No availability shared | You have not set any windows yet. Your local time is still shown. |
Underneath the headline, the page spells the next window out in plain language, for example "free tomorrow at 10
AM, which is 4 PM your time".What it is not
- Not a booking tool. Visitors cannot claim a slot or put anything on your calendar.
- Not connected to your calendar. WhatTime.to never reads Google Calendar, Outlook, or anything else. The schedule is what you typed in, and nothing more.
- Not a presence tracker. It reflects your stated intent, not whether your mouse moved.
