FAQ and troubleshooting
About the product
No. There is no calendar integration of any kind, and nothing to connect. Your availability is exactly the weekly windows you typed in, and nothing else feeds it.
No, and that is on purpose. WhatTime.to tells someone whether now is a good moment; it does not hand out slots or put anything anywhere. If you also want booking, add your scheduling tool as a contact link so visitors get both answers in one place.
No. Anyone with the link gets the full page immediately, with no sign-up prompt. Accounts exist only for people who own a page.
No. Nothing watches your presence, your device, or your typing. The page reports the schedule you wrote down and the current time in your zone.
Not per person, but you can have as many pages as you like, each with its own
slug, hours, and contact links. Share /game with your friends and /meet with your clients.
Privacy
Your display name, photo, status line, bio, timezone, weekly availability, contact links, and any badges awarded to your account. That is the whole list, and all of it is something you entered deliberately.
Your email address and your password. They stay on the account side and are not part of any page, badge, or public response.
Switch Public page off on that page. It goes dark for everyone right away, and your schedule is kept intact for whenever you switch it back on.
When something looks wrong
Check the timezone on the page's Profile tab. It is the zone your schedule is written in, and the clock follows it, so a page set to the wrong zone shows the wrong hour for everything.
An overnight window belongs to the day it starts on. Friday 22
to 02 goes under Friday, even though most of it lands on Saturday. See windows that cross midnight.Quiet hours override availability everywhere they overlap. If your quiet hours run 01
to 08, a window ending at 02 will report as ending at 01. Check the quiet hours setting on the Profile tab. That message appears when nothing is found in the next two weeks. The usual causes are that every day is switched off, or that quiet hours are swallowing the windows entirely. Open the Availability tab and confirm at least one day is on.
Badges are cached for about a minute, and some places that display images, GitHub readmes in particular, cache them much longer on their own side. Load the badge URL directly in a browser tab to see the true current state.
Changing your username breaks every previously shared link, including badges other people embedded. The other possibility is that the page was switched to private. See Your account.
Give it a minute, then check your spam folder. The verification screen has a resend button if it still has not arrived.
