Quickstart
Create an account, claim your username, set your hours, and share your first page.
Quickstart
From nothing to a shareable link. It takes a few minutes, and most of that is deciding what your hours actually are.
- Create an account
Go to whattime.to and sign up with your email and a password. If Google or Discord buttons appear on the sign-in screen, either of those works too and skips the verification step below.
- Verify your email
We send a verification link the moment you sign up. Click it, and you are in. If it has not arrived after a minute, check spam, then use the resend button on the verification screen.
- Claim your username
Your username is the last part of every link you will ever share, so pick one you like. It can be 3 to 30 characters, using letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens. Lookups ignore capitalization, but your page displays the casing you chose.
- Set your name, timezone, and hours
Onboarding walks you through a display name (what visitors read at the top of the page), your timezone, and your weekly availability. We start you on Monday to Friday, 10
to 20, so you only have to adjust rather than build from scratch.Everything here is editable later, and none of it is public until you finish.
- Share your link
Your first page lives at
whattime.to/talk/yourname. Copy it from the dashboard overview and put it wherever people find you: a bio, a Discord status, an email signature, a pinned message.
What to do next
/game page can keep different hours from /meet.Check your work
Open your own link in a private browsing window. That is exactly what a stranger sees, with their timezone guessed from their browser instead of yours. If the headline and the next window read the way you expect, you are done.
